Hurricane Season: What We Do To Help

(Image ©Jeff Jones)

The arrival of the rather uneventful Tropical Storm Issac marks the first storm of this hurricane season.

Of course, we’ll be open on Monday, August 27.

But what you might not know is that we always open up immediately after hurricanes and other storms hit, even if they are much, much worse!

As a doctor’s office it is our duty to help people when they need help the most, and that’s what we do.

Next time a hurricane strikes and you have a non-emergency please come and see us, instead of waiting in line at the emergency room (whether it is at Memorial Hospital Miramar, Memorial Hospital West, or another hospital).

We can provide all the non-emergency services that the emergency room can; like stitching up wounds, providing tetanus shots, and more.

BTW: No appointment is required!

Robert S. Tomchik, M.D. has more medical experience than the vast majority of doctors you’ll see at Memorial Hospital (read more about Robert S. Tomchik, M.D.’s medical experience here), and we won’t charge you the outrageous fees you will get hit with if you visit the ER.
