One of the secrets almost all the athletes participating in the 2012 London Olympics (and any other major sporting event) share is using jogging as a way to train and exercise.

This reasons are simple: 1) Jogging is cheap and simple. All you need is a pair of shoes, and many people consider even that optional, and

2) Jogging is an incredible total body workout, getting them into shape faster and burning more calories than almost all other types of exercise.

If you can stand jogging — either outside or on a treadmill — then there is no other exercise we can recommend so enthusiastically!

It burns calories incredibly fast, and provides a great workout for your legs, butt, abs, and arms.

(If you can’t or don’t want to jog, consider walking as much as possible!)
