Can facial exercises (or facial yoga) make you look younger? According to a study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association the answer might be yes!

Researchers Murad Alam, Anne Walter, and Amelia Geisler conducted a small study, published earlier this year, that showed that on average women who performed facial exercises looked 2 1/2 years younger than women that did not perform facial exercises. The researchers noted that the greatest results occurred in the cheeks of the women.

Unfortunately, the results are not 100% certain due to the small size of the study, and due to the fact that this is the first study to analyze the of the benefits of facial exercises. Nonetheless, this study might provide some hope for people that are aging in ways that make them look tired even when they are not.
