Type 2 Diabetes mellitus

In the coming week we are going to be talking about type 2 diabetes, a condition in which a person’s body does not produce enough insulin. Currently, 8.3% of the population of the United States of America (or 25,800,000 people in America) is diabetic.

Unfortunately that number is continuing to rise with no sign of slowing down. This makes diabetes the greatest national threat to our health.
